We took advantage of the pool in the backyard as much as possible of course.

Hyrum learned to swim in a matter of days. He's had months of swimming lessons, which frightened him more than anything, all he needed was his own pool and lots of cousins to lead the way. So, to anyone who is struggling with their own child's swimming dilemmas- just buy a pool! I'm sure they're not that expensive...

Everyday Hyrum asks when we're going to live in Utah. "Why do you want to live in Utah?" I ask. "Because my Grandmas are so sweet" his simple, but insightful answer.

this DARLING BABY!Being away from this new little life is so painful. Missing birthdays, baptisms, vacations, holidays, and simple family dinners is plenty rough, but babies- pain.

Awww...too sweet, Erin! I got a little misty eyed reading this. What a party we had while you guys were here...if it makes you feel any better we don't do anything nearly as fun when you aren't! We miss you guys and love you lots (so much that I won't silently curse you for posting those pictures of my HUGE preggo belly in a bathing suit!).
That is so sweet, and one darling baby girl! She is beautiful. Looks like you have an amazing family. I can see why you miss them so much.

I am so glad you had a fun time with your family and Brian's family in UT. The pool party looked like a blast. Brian's got some diving moves...cool:) We really enjoyed your visit today...we are glad you are back in VA now though;)
Oh:( I didn't even know you were in Utah. Sad. Seems like it was a super fun time tho! I love all your posts! I'm glad life is going so beautifully for you. I tried texting you on your birthday...you must not text:) That, or you didn't get it. I suppose I should have tried calling! I'll be a better friend next time. Miss you.

oh my word that family picture is so cute of you guys! Oh how I love the utah life....it is so fun to live else where but really when it comes down to it! Utah is where it's at! So when are you going to live in Utah? give us a call when you decide to come to zion:)
